Five minutes away by car is Westward Ho! An exceptionally good wave for foiling with a FoilDrive, a great safe wave for surfing or swimming with your children, building sandcastles and more!
Beautiful views and sunsets from home and the beach!
Our garden has an outdoor shower that you'll love after swimming at the slip, and even more you'll love the hotub day and night with and without the kids! They will enjoy splashing and you will enjoy relaxing when they are in bed! When you are home you can play games with your children in the garden, enjoy alfresco dining with a BBQ.

What is included?
Mum or Dad, you will have all the gear provided for your foiling, including a FoilDrive Fusion, Trench board and Foil. Helmet and impact vest. You have access to flat water and waves. You can even view the conditions from your window.
Accommodation in our lovely family home, with hot tub, outdoor shower, crabbing nets and buckets and spades and garden games.
We also have a gas BBQ.
Full kitchen with juicer and blender for smoothies if you're into that.
Lessons and sessions
Each day I will collect you by boat for a foiling lesson, what we do is decided between us and determined by the conditions. Your session will be filmed, I will give you feedback and you can watch these videos at night on the projector. You will also have a complete Foil Drive Fusion, board and foil for the duration of your stay which enables you get another session on foil every day if you like. There is also an Indo board and and Coolboard to further hone your balance.
We will provide you with a complete list of suggestions of the best and most fun things to do with your kids, places to explore, walks, penny arcades, best rock pooling, best ice creams and much much more!
If you would like to spend some family time with us, we also have an 8 year old boy who loves to meet new children and play!
What's so great about Appledore?
If you're not tired of foiling there are balance boards to hone your skills further still! There are also stacks of board games and big screen to wind down!
At night with your children tucked up in bed you may choose snuggle up on the sofa and watch a film together or share the clips from your foiling session with a glass of wine!
P.S. Don't forget to charge your Foil Drive and get an early session in before the kids wake up!
If you really want to progress your foiling, there is nothing so good as an intensive course. Clients who booked multiple sessions in one week progressed so much faster than those who came back a few weeks later. Immersion & repetition dials it in!

When you spend time with me, its not just a lesson. I will share all my knowledge of foiling, I will video you and assess your technique giving constant feedback and a written report. You also get to ride some fantastic equipment I have excellent foils suitable for beginner to advanced level.
Our week will be pre planned after speaking with you and figuring out what you want to focus on whether that is learning from scratch, or learning to wing, perhaps you just want to spend a week on FoilDrive. If you want to learn to dockstart we can do that, Tow foiling? Want to learn to carve and pump? Lets Go!

I already know that I will love watching your progression and seeing your smile when it clicks! That's why I do this!
Throughout the week I can answer any questions you have about technique or gear and how to choose the right foils, boards and wings. (And at any time afterwards if you would like advice just get in touch!)
Foiling is exhausting! But when you stay with us you can unwind and soak in the hot tub, dip into the cold tub too and relieve your muscles ready for another day.
We can tailor the week to your preference by booking spring or neap tides. If you would prefer to go foiling early in the morning and spend the rest of the day with your family we can arrange this for you over a week of spring tides. Alternatively if you would like a break in the middle of the day to go foiling then book a week of neap tides.
Ultimately its about your family too!
You get to go foiling AND have a proper seaside holiday with your family. That is why a holiday with us is so good. We can coordinate each session with your family so you don't miss out and neither do they.
If the balance is right your family wont mind if you disappear for a few hours. You will have the rest of the day enjoying time with them. Appledore and Westward Ho! have so much to offer. You will love your time here and wish you could stay longer!
